Welcomes you to the capital of Poland,
The lovely vibrant city of Warsaw

The IWG (International Women’s Group) has been operating in one form or another since 1982 and continues to be a social organization for English speaking women. The group’s activities are of interest to the expatriate spouse, who is not the working partner in their household, as well as like minded women residing in and around Warsaw.

Living outside one’s home country holds expected and unexpected challenges. To arrive at feelings of comfort with the new locale we have to adjust not only to climate and environment but also new customs, national languages and lifestyle differences. These adaptations and adjustments can be stressful at times. Way to minimize the personal stress often include:

  • Staying busy … exploring new places … meeting new people
  • As the old proverb suggests “when in Rome, do as the Romans do”
  • Join the IWG and develop the network of friends that will make your Warsaw stay one that is great among your life’s memories
